PicoPoint was founded in February 2002. In April 2002 PicoPoint launched its unique back-office solution 'GateKeeper' and is now a world leading facilitator of Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs). In 2004, PicoPoint opened an office for the Gulf and Middle East region.

In 2002 PicoPoint launched its unique ASP based back-office solution 'GateKeeper' an online application that runs in the PicoPoint Network Operations Centre (NOC).
